Music at SSIS is a rewarding and exciting experience for all students. The Middle School program focuses on the major fundamentals of music leading to greater musical expression through performance and composition.
A great variety of music genres will be studied incorporating not only the classics of our time, but also the modern day styles, such as rock, pop and hip hop that are so popular amongst today’s youth.
The ultimate goal for these students is to gain an appreciation and understanding of music and be able to enjoy and express themselves to their optimum potential.
