Science

Science Goals:

The curriculum is wide-ranging and emphasizes an interactive discovery-based approach to learning. A variety of assessment devices are employed, including web-based inquiries, portfolios, presentations and projects. Students use the scientific method to organize their activities, including

• Making predictions
• Formulating hypotheses
• Testing the hypothesis
• Making observations
• Drawing conclusions
